National Biomedical Research Institute

The National Biomedical Research Institute (NBRI) at UC Davis advances biomedical discovery to improve human health and quality of life. Through innovative, responsible research, NBRI scientists translate discoveries into new diagnostics, therapeutics, and clinical approaches that have the potential to prevent disease, improve therapuetics, and transform lives. Research conducted at NBRI spans human and animal health, recognizing the critical connection and important role that translational science plays in advancing human relevant medicine. As an Organized Research Unit at UC Davis, NBRI brings together multidisciplinary expertise, resources, and research models to accelerate discoveries from the laboratory toward real-world health solutions.
